# How to manually enroll an entity in a workflow?

There might be instances when you want to manually enroll an entity in a workflow. We will show you how to get started with that and ensure you know the enrollment conditions!

## Manually enrolling an entity

Entities are automatically enrolled based on the workflow trigger; however, in some cases, you might want to enroll the entity manually. For instance, if you created the workflow after having some entities that matched the criteria to trigger a workflow. Follow the steps below to do that:

* Go to **Workflows**, open the **Workflow**, click **Enrollments,** and then **Enroll.**
* Select the entity you want to **Enroll,** click **Save,** and then refresh the page

## Conditions to manually enroll a partner

### Trigger type

The type of entity you can enroll into the workflow will depend on your trigger type.

For example, if you have a trigger related to partners, such as *Partner invitation status* changed and *Partner properties*, you can enroll partners only. When you have a *Payout validated* trigger, you can enroll payouts only. Etc…

### Trigger conditions

All conditions defined in the workflow will be evaluated when you manually enroll an entity.

The entity won't be enrolled if the defined conditions don’t match.

### Re-enrollment settings

When you manually enroll an entity, re-enrollment settings will also be evaluated.

If your workflow does not support re-enrollments and the entity you want to enroll was already enrolled previously, the entity won’t be enrolled again.

### Manually un-enrolled entities

If you try to manually enroll an entity that was previously un-enrolled, the entity won’t be enrolled again.
